OVERVIEW

Donor recognition is a critical, yet often overlooked, aspect of annual giving. Whether you're sending a gift acknowledgement, producing a donor publication, or arranging an event, it's important to recognize donors in a thoughtful and respectful way. Doing so will not only help ensure that they have a positive giving experience, but will also increase the likelihood that they'll continue their support for many years to come.

With more than 15 years of experience in annual giving and educational fundraising, Skylar has led programs at The Lawrenceville School, The Spence School, Washington and Lee University, and Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Her other experience includes work as the Chair of STAFF (Sharing the Annual Fund Fundamentals). Skylar has a B.A. in Sociology from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and an M.P.A. in nonprofit management from SUNY Brockport.
