OVERVIEW

The work isn't over when your giving day comes to an end. In fact, that's when it really begins. Following up with donors and volunteers after a Giving Day to report results, acknowledge their contributions, and describe the impact of the event's collective efforts will make sure that everyone's support continues for many years to come, and will help to ensure next year's Giving Day is an even bigger and more widespread success.

With more than 15 years of experience in annual giving and educational fundraising, Emily has led programs at the University of Pennsylvania, Rice University, and Lafayette College. Her other experience includes presenting for CASE and the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and teaching at Rice's Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership. She holds a B.A. in English from Binghamton University and an M.S. in Nonprofit Leadership from Penn's School of Social Policy and Practice.
