Audra Vaz is the Executive Director of Development and Annual Giving at Appalachian State University, where she leads a team of fundraising and communications professionals tasked with garnering support for the university’s greatest needs. She has more than 25 years of progressive leadership experience in advancement, communications, and relationship building. Prior to her current role, Audra led annual giving efforts at Florida Atlantic University. She holds a doctorate in education from Appalachian State University, a master’s in nonprofit management from Florida Atlantic University, and a bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University.
