206: Second Asks
Recorded On: 07/16/2019
“Give now and we won’t ask you again for the rest of the year” used to be a somewhat humorous tagline for many annual giving programs. Yet with increased pressure to raise money and a growing number of institutional priorities, organizations are finding that it's beneficial to be able to go back to their loyal donors before the next fiscal year—and many are, in fact, willing to give again. By targeting donors for second asks, programs have found an effective way to upgrade support to higher levels while boosting overall engagement and retention.
